These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern access to and use of the Althera Connect platform (the “Platform”) by any visitor or user (the “User”).

By accessing or using the Platform, the User acknowledges and agrees to be bound by these Terms.

If the User does not agree, they must immediately cease using the Platform.

2. Nature of the Platform

The Platform operates exclusively as:

  • a digital directory,
  • a visibility tool,
  • an information and connection interface.

The Platform:

  • is not a healthcare provider,
  • does not provide medical, psychological, therapeutic, or advisory services,
  • does not intervene in any relationship between Users and professionals,
  • does not validate or guarantee the competence of listed professionals.

The Platform acts solely as an independent technical intermediary.

3. No Medical or Professional Advice

All content available on the Platform is provided for informational purposes only.

Nothing on the Platform shall be construed as:

  • medical advice,
  • therapeutic advice,
  • diagnosis,
  • treatment recommendation.

Users are solely responsible for:

  • evaluating professionals,
  • verifying qualifications,
  • making informed decisions.

4. Relationship with Professionals

Any relationship established between a User and a professional listed on the Platform is:

  • direct,
  • independent,
  • outside the control of the Platform.

The Platform:

  • is not a party to any agreement,
  • does not manage appointments or services (unless expressly stated),
  • does not guarantee outcomes or satisfaction.

5. Accuracy of Information

While the Platform strives to ensure accuracy, it does not guarantee that:

  • listings are complete,
  • information is accurate or up to date,
  • profiles reflect actual qualifications or current status.

Users acknowledge that reliance on information is at their own risk.

6. Verified Badge Disclaimer

Certain professionals may display a “Verified” badge.

The User acknowledges that:

  • verification is limited to document review,
  • it does not constitute certification, endorsement, or validation of competence,
  • it does not guarantee quality, safety, or results.

7. User Conduct

Users agree not to:

  • use the Platform for unlawful purposes,
  • attempt to access restricted systems,
  • interfere with the functioning of the Platform,
  • misuse information obtained through the Platform,
  • engage in abusive, defamatory, or harmful behavior.

 

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

The Platform shall not be held liable for:

  • actions or omissions of professionals,
  • any services provided by professionals,
  • indirect or consequential damages,
  • loss of opportunity, data, or reputation,
  • any harm resulting from reliance on Platform content.

Use of the Platform is at the User’s sole risk.

9. No Warranty

The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available”.

No warranty is provided regarding:

  • availability,
  • reliability,
  • accuracy,
  • performance.

10. Intellectual Property

All elements of the Platform are protected by intellectual property laws.

Users may not:

  • reproduce,
  • copy,
  • distribute,
  • exploit

any content without prior authorization.

11. Data Protection

The Platform processes personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy.

Users acknowledge that:
